Before choosing The Loft Room to carry out the work, we did a fair bit of research on companies, as you hear all sorts of horror stories. This was a lot of money to us and we needed to make sure we made the right decision and we chose the right builders to carry out our work. We needed not have worried, as right from the beginning with Paul coming to visit the communication was absolutely brilliant. He advised us on various options and different designs available. We knew from this point that this company were different to all of the others we had seen. Paul was extremely knowledgeable having originally built lofts and not just a salesman as many of the other companies were.
Once we signed the contract and paid a deposit, the surveyor was arranged to come out to start on the plans. We had the support in the office from Maggie and Melissa any time of the day, they were always there to answer the smallest of queries from us.
Once we had the permission in place the scaffold went up and the guys got going. Even though I believed The Loft Room were going to do a good job I was still a little apprehensive of the work starting.
The fact of the matter is we barely knew they were there. The team worked from the outside in, the guys on site were extremely conscientious, unbelievably hard working, clean and tidy, I couldn’t believe it! The build took 6 weeks from start to finish. They even turned up to work when we had all that snow. Talk about dedication. Rich said that it would only take 6 weeks but I wasn’t convinced…
I was wrong!!!
Rich was brilliant, he was always there to offer different ideas and kept us in the loop with everything that was planned.
We now have an amazing master bedroom with a large en-suite as well as a stunning new ‘very bright’ landing! The new staircase has made our landing feel so much bigger and brighter. We were concerned it would look out of place but it looks stunning. Like it was always there.
We really couldn’t recommend The Loft Room anymore and as cheesy as it sounds, it really has changed our lives!
