Why did you decide to get a loft conversion?
We decided to get a loft conversion to make space for our growing family! We bought our house with the intention of turning it into a three-bedroom place once our baby arrived so it was always our intention to build up, especially having looked at other houses on the street that had already done it.

Why did you choose The Loft Room in the end?
One of our neighbours recommended The Loft Room and we were really impressed when we had a look at her loft. We wanted a company that specialised in lofts so we could be confident they knew what they were doing. The communication from the Loft Room was really impressive – it was clear from the earliest conversations that good customer service was really important to them and that they took a lot of pride in their work and their brand. After a couple of meetings we knew they were the company for us.
What do you think of The Loft Room’s customer service?
Very impressed with the customer service – questions were answered quickly and they were always helpful and proactive with problem solving.
How did you find the loft conversion experience as a whole?
It was tough at times because I had a young baby at home and a broken arm! But it was finished quickly and I was confident that the team were doing their best to minimise mess and disturbance.
How do you feel about your new loft conversion?
We love it! It’s transformed our home completely. Would do it again in a heartbeat. Even with the dust!
Do you think The Loft Room fulfilled your loft’s greatest potential?
Yes, though I wish we had spoken to The Loft Room before we had our architects draw their plans. I’ve been quite inspired by what I’ve seen on their instagram and sometimes wonder if we could have done anything a bit more creative.
Would you recommend The Loft Room to a friend, family member or neighbour?
Yes definitely – we have already recommended them to several friends and neighbours.
Of all the trades working on your loft conversion, which was your favourite to work with? E.g. the carpenters, plumbers or electricians.
The painters! Dave was so lovely and friendly – it was a pleasure to have him there. He was especially good with my baby – always making him giggle. We were very fond of one of the plumbers too – I think his name was John. And Marius our lead builder was really considerate and helpful.
Do you feel confident you could contact The Loft Room again in the future for any reason to do with your loft conversion?
Yes absolutely. Everyone we have met at The Loft Room is very approachable.

Everyone at The Loft Room is really friendly and professional, and communication with both our project manager, builders, and the back office has been exceptional throughout. Everyone involved in our loft conversion has produced great quality work and I’ve been seriously impressed by how hard our builders – led by the amazing Marius – worked every day. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend The Loft Room – they’ve been really brilliant and we are delighted with the improvement to our home.
