Why did you decide to get a loft conversion?
We had moved from our 2 bedroom flat in South London to Kingston and recently had our 2nd child, we’d always wanted to have our own ‘adult’ space – just a place to get relaxed and not have clutter and toys around, so we decided to get our loft done and make the space perfect for us!

Why did you choose The Loft Room in the end?
We chose The Loft Room because they were very competitively priced as some of the other quotes seemed to have extras. The other reason was the professionalism of The Loft Room, from the initial visit right to signing the contracts we felt comfortable and assured about what to expect and looking at previous work they’d completed we knew we’d made the right decision – we had also seen lots of lofts being done by The Loft Room around our area.
What do you think of The Loft Room’s customer service?
Customer service was good, the actual build team and project management we really couldn’t fault.
How did you find the loft conversion experience as a whole?
The noise was a lot less than we thought it was going to be, the same goes for the mess and dust! General day to day it didn’t have much impact on us as the build team never needed to come into the house. We found this really great and although we wouldn’t of minded them coming in, it felt like everyone could get on with their day and not worry if we needed to go out!
How do you feel about your new loft conversion?
It’s beautiful, totally in love with it and it’s the perfect grown up space we desired!
Do you think The Loft Room fulfilled your loft’s greatest potential?
Yes definitely, all throughout The Loft Room helped us with ideas to make the most of the space as well as lighting and electrical advice.
Would you recommend The Loft Room to a friend, family member or neighbour?
Yes absolutely we’d recommend them to anyone who wanted a loft, we already have!
Of all the trades working on your loft conversion, which was your favourite to work with? E.g. the carpenters, plumbers or electricians.
All of them were very professional and really great to work with, we were most impressed with the tilers – we had tricky tiles in the bathroom but they did a wonderful job and so thrilled with the standard of work.
Do you feel confident you could contact The Loft Room again in the future for any reason to do with your loft conversion?

The Loft Room recently completed our beautiful loft conversion and we would highly recommend them to anyone that is thinking about undertaking this work.
The first thing to know is that Iulian, Mihai and the rest of the build team are just amazing. The effort they put into their work is second to none – going the extra mile come rain or shine, or weekends. Their work is exceptional, as is their attention to detail.The communication was very clear throughout the build and having a WhatsApp group enabled everyone to know what was happening.
The external tradesmen that are used are also very professional and once again the work is of a very high standard – we had scallop shell tiles in our bathroom which look just amazing!
Rich and Paul who are The Loft Room founders have a fantastic team of builders and the support team behind the scenes (Maggie, Melissa and Jo) are really lovely people to deal with and gave us a lot of reassurance when it came to finances and the process.
We are thrilled with the loft, and with our decision to trust The Loft Room with our project!
